TAGME Certification and Professional Development

This workshop is designed for GME administrators and coordinators who are interested in personal professional development opportunities or considering TAGME certification as an avenue of professional development. This workshop will also contain pertinent information for certified administrators who are seeking re-certification. The workshop will cover the benefits of TAGME certification, changes in the certification process, the annual timeline and deadlines, and application requirements. Paritcipants will walk through of the application process, a description of valuable resources, assessment content, and sample assessment items. The presenters will provide information on accumulating and recording educational credits in preparation for application. We will also discuss the importance of personal professional development and identify specific opportunities available to administrators.
