Raising the Standard: Increasing Trainee Accountability on Administrative Task Completion

This workshop will showcase program frameworks focused on increasing trainee accountability for administrative task completion by formal documentation and association to ACGME Milestones. Participants will learn two different models that can be used by a program to set expectations for completion of a variety of administrative tasks and ensure appropriate accountability. Participants will learn the challenges encountered in developing systems of accountability, the ways to standardize the process for streamlined review of all trainees no matter the program size, and the benefits of implementation. In addition to learning about two models, participants will have the opportunity to collaborate in groups to develop drafts of structures that could be implemented in your institution
